Ah, the honeymoon. It’s supposed to be once in a lifetime trip, right? There are things that I’d consider really fun…

But being realistic, there are other times to take trips. Taking this trip right after the wedding would be a waste of opportunities, actually. We won’t enjoy the experience of the trip as fully because we’ll be spending most of the honeymoon in bed.What is more realistic is having a trip that provides moderate diversion and is planned out in a manner that leaves us free of responsibilities. Like a cruise.

Cliche? Maybe. Practical? Yes. Our meals will be prepared for us, our outings will be scheduled at the same time as we are in port, but there will still be plenty of free, unstructured time for us to relax and swim, or to, erm… enjoy married life.
